I would like to ask a few questions regarding the scales.
I saw that 10 years ago a post was uploaded on this platform where it was well written how to convert scales, which is this link https://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/thread?threadid=5504&page=1
but because they closed the zippyshare website where the file was hosted, it is now lost
I was looking in forums and I have seen that using the automatic scale that shows ArrowVortex multiplied by 1.5 gives the result of the scale
I don't know if that is very accurate or if it is somewhat wrong.
On reddit there is a file that is used with the Python code that automatically converts an SM with a classic scale to X and vice versa by modifying the "/" for a "*" I don't know if that conversion is also correct or wrong.
I also have a question regarding the data of the steps of a song.
I have seen that in stepmania 5 you can find the percentage of levels that make up a song
According to looking at some songs, for example, MDG3's Destination Helios at its highest level according to the graph it contains
Voltage: 148 (1.48)
Stream: 116 (1.16)
Chaos: 5 (0.05)
Freeze: 3 (0.03)
Air: 37 (0.37)
According to that logic of the forums that I mentioned, would it tell me that it is a lvl 20 in scale X?
If someone can clarify my doubts or give me a complete guide on how to make the correct conversions, it would be of great help.

I don't recommend using program or Groove Radar to estimate a chart's rating. Multiplying the rating from ArrowVortex is probably a reliable approach, but keep in mind the content of the chart itself as the rating is simplifying so many things that determines a difficulties (like twistiness, gimmicks, readability, etc.).
The most reliable however, is to play it yourself and crosschecks with the official chart in DDR. If you are uncertain with rating it by yourself, then multiplying it from AV's rating is the best fallback method. Do keep note it's not 100% reliable so if you already certain with giving ratings by yourself, then you should start doing it by yourself.
I used the method with ArrowVortex on my early charting period. However, it's not a 1:1 ratio with it as there's some overlap from the rating with official DDR charts. Hence, I made a reference rating that I used to convert ArrowVortex rating to X-scale.
I don't really use this anymore, but feel free to take a reference from it.
TL;DR: Do not used computed numbers to determine difficulty rating. Learn how to give rating by yourself. If uncertain, using ArrowVortex rating is a good start. But don't over-rely on it.
