Hello.
I hope this is the right section to post this query. The information is already in the database, but seems a bit muddled and/or isn't accessible from some areas of the site. I'm also new here so I'm prepared to smack my forehead real hard if I'm missing something obvious, but from what I've been able to see and try this information is accurate.

This relates to the distinction between two combo machines:
Pac-Man/Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga: 25th anniversary
Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga: 20 year reunion/Class of 1981

When adding a game to an arcade, in the Series list there is an entry for "Pac-Man" and an entry for "Pac-Man & Galaga".
However, in the Games Browser and the games search field in the Arcades tab, there is only an entry for "Pac-Man", so it is currently not possible to search for the Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga machine. The way my browser was positioned, the "Pac-Man & Galaga" entry was obscured. Oops.

Additionally, the "Pac-Man & Galaga" series selection provides two entries:
"Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga: 20 year reunion" and "Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga: Class of 1981"
Unless I'm mistaken, those are one in the same, not two different machines.

Finally, I believe the "Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga: 25th anniversary" entry under the Pac-Man series should include "Pac-Man" as well since that edition has all three games.

(Note: while it is possible to access all three on the reunion/1981 machine with a "cheat code", this is not advertised anywhere on the machine)

Maybe it would make sense to merge all the combo machines under the Pac-Man series, and merge the "20 year reunion" and "Class of 1981" entries into one. So ideally under the Pac-Man series the user would see (and be able to search for):
"Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga: 20 yr. reunion/Class of 1981 (North America)"
"Pac-Man/Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga: 25th anniversary (North America)"

Thanks!

Marquees for reference.

25th anniversary:

And just a quick addendum: there's also an entry for a "40th anniversary" edition of Pac-Man. From what I can tell this name only applies to micro players, novelty quarter-size builds and Arcade1UP setups, not any actual arcade cabinets, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I agree to merge those under the "Pac-Man" series would be okay. I think it's recognizable to be grouped there. In my opinion, however, anything with multiple games should just be listed under the "Multicade" category (e.g. "Centipede/Missile Command/Millipede"), but that's a different argument.

On the Pac-Man 40th Anniversary stuff, I did some surface-level searching and couldn't find anything about actual arcade cabinets for that either. so that should probably be removed, yeah.

You can request to do edits in the Arcade location Game Requests thread. I've done a few with Pinball machines and they've been changed.
