Hi!
First. Here I collect the sequences of Paranoia Rebirth ESP that belong to other songs of the DDR 3rd MIX.
There are sequences I couldn't identify. Will they be originals from Paranoia Rebirth?
PS: After having done this, I also verified that something similar happens with Paranoia MAX (2nd mix) and with Paranoia (1st mix). Soon I will make videos for both songs and their respective references.

Yes, the first three Paranoia songs borrowed step patterns from other songs from their respective games. It's not only the Expert/SSR/Maniac sequences either. This also occurs for the Basic and Difficult/Another charts as well, but I think it only applies to Single (i.e. they don't borrow on Double Mode).
As for the unidentified sequences in your video, some of them are probably original sequences for Paranoia Rebirth. I highly suspect the middle section where there are a few more breaks/empty-spots is one. The other spots might have been borrowed from songs that didn't make the final game. I know the original Paranoia borrowed steps from Money which didn't make the final DDR 1.0 release (it was only in the beta). Similarly, Paranoia Max from the original DDR 2nd Mix borrowed steps from El Ritmo Tropical which didn't actually debut until the DDR 2nd Mix Link Version upgrade.

of the missing sections, the only one i could recognize was
1:24~1:26 - CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU (70's Remix) ESP m29~30
which is surprising considering the referenced song was scrapped

Thanks for posting this. I asked this before years ago but no one helped out.
BTW, are you also going to do Paranoia Max Dirty Mix X-Special? I saw the charts of V (for Extreme) and Break Down! in its single chart. There's also Paranoia Max Dirty Mix SMM-Special comprised of charts from various Paranoias.

Thanks for the feedback! So far I have found the following references in the following versions of Paranoia:
Paranoia (1st mix) ESP
Paranoia MAX (2nd mix) ESP
Paranoia x-special (DDR X) CSP
Paranoia MAX x-special (DDR X) CSP
I think that in Paranoia x-special there are more references to other previous songs, but I can't identify them.

Unfortunately I did not find those matches. Could you help me with them?Quote: TikalFan9000

Yes! Thank you very much, soon I will modify the Paranoia Rebirth video to make a longer video showing other Paranoias, and I will include your contribution 1:24~1:26 - CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU (70's Remix) ESP m29~30
which is surprising considering the referenced song was scrapped

Thank you very much! Indeed, the references you indicate are correct. There are probably others. Regarding SMM-Special, yes, that version contains patterns from many previous paranoias. I think I've seen a video about SMM-Special once.Post #6 · Posté à 2022-03-03 04:45:56am il y a 2.2 années

Money is used in the Basic and Another (Difficult) charts for Paranoia. It's towards the end in the section right after Strictly Business and before Little Bitch. You're right though in that it doesn't seem to be used in Maniac (Expert). Similarly, El Ritmo Tropical is used in Basic and Another for Paranoia Max, but again, it might not be used in Maniac. Sorry for the confusion.

Sadly not been able to find a source for this but there was a long standing rumour around "Jump" by Bus Stop being scrapped early on in 1st Mix development but it's chart was kept and used as part of paranoia's chart. There's a possibility this might answer some of the unaccounted for sections, plus also Boys was originally meant to be on 1st mix but held back for 2nd Mix so maybe there's some charting in that borrowed for it?

update
i found the chart referenced in 1:21~1:24 in the video
i can't believe i'm saying this, but it's BEATS LIKE THIS m54.
this ultimately reveals the true nature of the song; it wasn't an EuroMIX reject, it wasn't a 3rdMIX PLUS reject, but rather a 3rdMIX base reject.
