"AAA: 3 @ SINOBUZ"
This post will appear on the next page! (fact?)

Well, I'm going to be so simple... You can call me Kaz, I'm an old BEMANI player (I'm 23 years old anyways), I live in Valparaíso, Chile and... mmm... not much to say Tongue.

""TEA-SY LISTENING""
I'm really wondering how I missed this now.
But yeah, I'm TheAAMaster!(Yes, I know I've already posted a few times.) I call myself this because I almost NEVER get a AAA in DDR, mostly just black-flagging stuff. Tbh, though, kind of wish I could change it to something less lame... I'm also trying to get into PnM and IIDX, but I have a hard time finding any of the games in Sweden. Played some regular beatmania, though.

Hello. _inaba_ here. My first experience with anything rhythm was Dance Dance Revolution X2 (home version because the arcades had unresponsive down/up arrows). Not too long ago (after ny DDR metal dance pad became unresponsive back in 2012), I discovered Reflec Beat plus (English version) for the ipad and although it had song packs that you had to purchase, I didn't mind. I often hit walls in improving in rhythm games (ex. I can complete some level 9's on RB, but my accuracy would be somewhere between 70.0-84.0) I also play with the CPU level at 10 to improve my timing, but I suppose everyone hits walls at some point though.

I also play osu!: https://osu.ppy.sh if anyones heard of it.

I am also looking for other ipad rhythm games, so if you can list some or point me in the right direction to where I can find some that would be perfect!

Hi there! I sent you a pm(don't discuss it on here because I don't want to clutter the forum)
For iPad rhythm games you can try Tone Sphere, Cytus, ReRave, and Deemo(these are paid just two bucks if you don't mind). If you want you can change your iTunes market to Japan and get Cross X Beats and Gitadora! Have fun!

Hello Zero116, Dr.d and Kon have over 1,000 AAA scores, so you can probably learn from them.

There's also a link that has info to the BBCode used here: http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewthread.php?threadid=1293

Hello, I am DREAMEND (Alias: CATHERINE/CHARLOTTE).

I am a big fan of Pop'n Music since 2011 thanks to my dear friend which I am collecting almost all games of Pop'n Music.
Beside Pop'n Music, the other bemani games that I like are Beatmania, Dance Dance Revolution, and Jubeat.
I decided to join here to enhance my interests of Music Rhythm Games.

Nice to meet you all~ Big Grin

I'm Samui, and hello everyone o/

My first rhythm game is Dance Dance Revoluion 2nd Mix CS (with controller). I've never played DDR with pad nor arcade even until now, since it looks difficult and requires a lot more stamina compared to playing with controller. Just achieved my first AAA rank at SuperNOVA on Expert difficulty several days ago with controller after 10+ years of playing DDR casually. Other than DDR, I'm currently playing a bit of GITADORA Tri-Boost (GuitarFreaks and DrumMania) AC, as well as starting to play Beatmania IIDX (started with Pendual). As for Beatmania IIDX, I can't seem to adapt well from Lv4 to Lv5 Normal, but I will try my best to improve myself overtime.

Well... I guess that is it for my introduction, and nice to meet you everyone!

LukeMarshall here.

I started with DDR Max 2 for the Playstation, played extreme @ our local arcade.

I would frequent the next city over during the time of 8th mix tournaments and general hangouts. What I can appreciate is that whereas we all have a love for rhythm gaming, everone I encountered while playing seemed to be really cool and accepting of one another.

We saw the drop of Super Nova, that was cool and then things just kind of stagnated and disbanded in our area.

About two years ago I found a Pump it Up Pro Machine in an obscure location and started my pump journey. I found a couple people that really enjoyed both pump and dance, and funs were had.

Just about a week ago, in that same city over, a modified in the groove machine was deployed. For the first time in so many years they had people gathered, sitting around the machine, encouraging one another... cards/coins forming a long line.

I should introduce myself as well... I never did it oops.

My name's Han Kyul, and I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm also hnkul702 on YouTube, if you happen to know that user. I made this account like 2 and a half years ago (because a friend of mine convinced me to), right about when I first tried playing ITG on an arcade machine. I was both new to rhythm games and writing stepcharts, hence my username xD

I've never actually posted anywhere until recently (about two months ago) because I wasn't familiar with the community and the more "subtle" rules in the forums. I was afraid of what would happen if a new user posted stuff that wasn't so great (I mean, we all make mistakes). So I lurked around for a few months (I still do), looking at stuff that's happened in the past in these forums, as well as to get to know what the community here is like. So far, I like how a lot of members of Z-i-V have treated me, so I'll definitely stick around! Happy

By the way, you can call me "Newbie" as a nickname if you want. Totally fine with me! I'm still learning! Tongue

Game Center Nickname: 0/1 ANGEL
"Mostly just lurking."
I haven't introduced myself yet, but now I will!

I'm 01angel, Angel, Alt, or Jenna. You may know me as AngelA.I.Girl over on RemyWiki. I've been a BEMANI fan ever since my foot first touched a DDR pad in gym class in kindergarten (I still remember it like it was yesterday. The song I played was Speed Over Beethoven). As you can see, I have been playing DDR since then, but I play on the "Basic" difficulty on the arcade (The closest DDR machine to me is an X3 vs. 2nd Mix.) The reason why is because I don't have much practice as I don't own any of the DDR CS games, and I don't visit the arcades that often.

Anyway, there are other BEMANI games I like more than DDR. My number-one all time favorite BEMANI game is Pop'n Music, and it has been since 2010, when I first played Pop'n Music 14 Fever! at an arcade. While I didn't know how to change my character and I only played on Enjoy Mode (you can't blame me, I was a bit younger then), I did ignite a love for Pop'n that started to fade away in 2012...

So, for a short time in my life, I nearly forgot about BEMANI (gasp!), until one day in 2015, I was browsing random videos on YouTube, when I saw a Pop'n Music video. The video sparked my re-interest in Pop'n Music and all things BEMANI, and by June 2015, I had become a HARDCORE BEMANI fan. I downloaded Jukebeat and Reflec Beat + for my iPad, and now, I can clear tunes up to a level 9 (passing all level 9's with at least a "C" except for SUMIDAGAWA KARENKA) in JB and up to a 10+ in RB.

So, that's my story. Anyway, my favorite BEMANI artists are Seiya Murai (especially the V.C.O. featuring Alt and seiya-murai feat. ALT songs) and VENUS, and if I had to choose one favorite song from any BEMANI game, it would be 0/1 ANGEL (hence my username Tongue).
Don't forget, I'm angel for yoooooooou(|[*'v'*]|)

I'm definitely not going to think that anyone remembers me; I first came here in the spring of 2011. Now that I've recovered a bit of my account info, I'm back in action.

Anyway, my name's Hunter, and I don't seem to recall doing a lot the last time I was logged in here. I do know that I'm reasonable at DDR, but I have God-awful stamina. That's not gonna stop me from having a good time, though.
Also known as d-feather.

More active on Twitter nowadays. I'm also probably the only casual DDR player with an eAmuse pass.

Hi,

Just discovered this forum as I was looking into Jubeat stuff, info, sims etc
I'm Aidan, both french and british, 24 and just moved to Japan on the 29th of December on a working Holiday visa.
As I always was fascinated by this game I've mostly played Jubeat as I arrived (I don't own a compatible device for jubeat plus and won't get one as the size and touchscreen just doesn't fit with this game IMO)
So played for a month a few times a week and only up to step 29, still struggling to clear level 9s ~

Other than that I before getting here just finished studies in systems administraion and cyber defense and am a whole lot into music, games, anime, motorsports, visual novels...too many stuff to actually list.

Hello guys,

Saw this thread earlier and decided I might as well give this a go and make an account (despite being nervous Confused ).
I'm Steven, I'm 19 and I'm from Canada, Ontario. I've been lurking on this site for about a year now but was too nervous to decide joining into the community. I found the site looking for simfiles for stepmania (btw, thank you for putting forth the time and effort to make simfiles) and am a very avid rhythm game player.
I've been playing DDR for about a year and a half and now I'm capable of passing every song in DDR without fail and the hardest song I've ever PFC'ed thus far is probably Anti-MatterChallenge. I've gotten close to PFC'ing possessionChallenge (4 greats) and FELMChallenge (2 greats) but haven't managed to pull them off yet. I'm also capable of passing every song in Reflec Beat Plus with the best score I've gotten on Clamare hard being 81.2%. I can pass most songs in Jubeat Plus except for Stand Alone Beat Masta and Dopamine. I've also gotten into IIDX(LR2) and the hardest song I can pass is probably Verflucht Hyper.
I don't know if compared to the majority of players If I would be considered good, but I at the least like to think I'm pretty decent and I have fun doing what I do so it works out.
I have too many hobbies to count, but the ones that particularly interest me are Anime, reading, gaming, long distance running, and helping people in need. I'm very calm and nice, I'm just shy and can be awkward at times.
Overall I'm happy to have built up the courage to join in on the community and I'm looking forward to adding my opinion and words on some discussions. Thanks again to everyone for everything done with this site to make it as interesting as it is.
