Got a series of questions and would love some input.
I am in the market to buy a DDR machine and currently have the choice between an X2 and X3 vs 2nd Mix.
I'd love input on which people think is a better purchase, and if one could update between the two:
Machine Information:
1. Both machines are within roughly the same price range.
2. Both machines are roughly the same condition.
3. X3 is a Red Cabinet, X2 is the newer style LCD cab
4. Either machine would come from public use (ie, arcade)
Questions:
1. X2 could take custom song uploads and as a result had the ability to do Couple's Charts. Is this possible on X3?
1a. Do the couples charts that used to exist still exist somewhere? I previously tried looking up the dude's name, but couldn't find any information on it. If they are lost to history, I suppose this wouldn't matter.
2. Can X3 be downgraded to X2 temporarily with the right disk whatever? (Or a US X2 cab upgrade to X3?) I am more familiar with how upgrading worked with 573 boards and don't know anything about the modern dell computers and restrictions on it.
