Has there ever been an incident on the Z-i-V website where someone posted a simfile they made of a song unrelated to Dancemania or BEMANI that ended up getting taken down due to copyright infringement? If so, how often does something like that occur?
For example, let's say someone were to upload a simfile where they used an Ariana Grande song from her latest studio album Sweetener which was released on August 17th, 2018 (it's seven days old at the time of writing this thread). Would the record label that she is a part of delete the simfile themselves, or would they contact the administrator/moderators of Z-i-V, inform them that a member of Z-i-V used a song of theirs, and request them to tell the member who uploaded the simfile to take it down? I'm sure asking this may make me seem rather vigilant, but I'm sure many would agree with the point that they would not like to get in trouble with copyright. >_>
(Unrelated sidenote: I've noticed that I have been making a lot of new threads lately, so my apologies to anyone who might be getting annoyed by it... ;w; )

There's a reason why you can't download the audio files from a simfile. One of my own files was removed because of the DMCA, and I think some other files got it, so Alan just removed the ability to stop it. This would have been in around 2014 I think?

The only audio files you can directly download are OGG. That's fair game.

They use special robots (Scripts) to search mostly mp3, because is the most common audio file, most of the job is done by the Google robots (Scripts too) that are indexing the sites, You could do a search like this intitle:"index.of" (mp3) dancemania and it will return you a lot of sites that Google have indexed which have mp3 files and the word dancemania similar things could be done using rar or zip and searching album names, is nothing really new. Most sites avoid the google robots to index the site to reduce this kind of things. Use another sound formats like ogg or flac, etc and avoid naming the files with something easy to find. For example you don't expect to find a Ariana Grande song in a zip called 8gfm8gf.rar

DMCA got hard pressed when I uploaded a simfile of the entire Birthday / Katy Perry track. I'm not gonna say I was wholly responsible for the OGG switchover, but I am totally responsible for the OGG switchover
