5 / 8 / 11 / 14Yes, I realize that it's normally frowned upon to step a song that's already been in DDR. But, I feel that the official charts don't give this song justice. The official charts are pretty bad. I've made my own charts for all the difficulties and included a Challenge chart for those of you who felt the song was missing something, though I didn't think it really needed it.
Not sure if I'll be getting votes in. I've been busy, and I think right now I'd rather work on a second file for now. I've been having trouble getting through the songs this week for some reason.

Contrary to last week's ironically named file (thanks ledgam3r), I decided to actually take it easy (somewhat?) for this round. This is Malta's entry for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, which earned the country its only top 10 finish (8th) in the last 10 contests. (Yes, I did my research.) I picked this because (a) it fits the theme and (b) the song is so full of joy (or at the very least, sounds joyful).
tries to follow . It's a vital component, after all.Oh yeah, I wasn't sure if the song's BPM is 100 or 200. At the most intense part, 100 feels too slow, yet 200 feels too fast, so I compromised and gradually increase the scroll speed to ×1.5 there. Look out!

Challenge has some rough 24th runs and 16th jumps to contend with, plus a couple long rolls with some fun crossover action. Heavy has some spins and a lot of jumps and crossovers.

I was hoping to step カゲロウデイズ, but I couldn't cut to a length under 2:30 where the song still made some sense (the song is pretty much a story). With time running out, I eventually decided My Copycat would be my backup if I couldn't find another song. I already had a
file done plus graphics, so I just had to step - . I made the executive decision to submit it about an hour and a half ago realizing I wouldn't have much time to step anything else even if I found something. I also had a chart "finished", but it seemed unpolished and unnecessary so I decided against including it. I guess if you're interested in that, feel free to PM and I'll send you the .sm + .ssc with the chart, but I really didn't see it as quality enough to include for the contest. Not gonna lie, I'm afraid to see how this one performs. After taking a look at it on the SM editor for a while, I would agree with that statement. At least when I compare the 8ths with the current karaoke rhythms that involve 12ths, the 8ths seem to fit a lot better.

Finally, you can ask people to cut songs for you. The cut here is pretty awkward, and the ending can be left as is. There are more bad points, but these ones should really be fixed first.

Does this mean main song titles can only be 7 characters (tiles) long? It's super easy to cheese it otherwise.

It's not as easy to cheese as you'd actually think.
As some examples, MEGALOMAN[i]A only scores 13 and that has 11 letters while Super Duper Racers barely makes it with 23 points for 16 letters.
Limiting it to 7 letters would make the theme too hard for most people imo.

nope, can be as long as it can be, that's why subtitles and such are omitted. (the score are just plain score too so even with a decent title, if the letters are too common you might still not make it)
