1. He saw mine probably because I label each e-mail with details of the last change, along with details f the current change
2. I'd feel great if you sent him updates of my work. That means that A) I missed something when making the file and B) I have some spots to improve on or to make sure to go over the next time I come across the same situation.


As long as you tell what you've fixed for me, I wouldn't mnd. I've been bugging alan about my syncing as this is the first time I've ever done such a thing and I wanna know how far off I am to what it's supposed to be.

tl;dr: I encourage people to criticise what I've done so that I can improve and encourage others to fix my files for the good of the community.

now... here is the NEW complaint i'm pointing to (happened a while ago )that makes me more even adamant now aside from failing to update my sm files before public download:

somebody ask about to test my work (from the download) on Calle Ocho... i'm sure it is even one of the easiest to make... straight bpm would have no problem in synching until the end of the song. i played the song on my stepmania then there is something strange in the beginning... it is a very litte late (handsclap on) in synch but in the end it was all sync. i was in the ??? reaction and ask myself is if i got the wrong file submitted to Alan... I compared my original back-up sent to him and the file downloaded from ziv using notepad... there is more something strange in what i've saw there... the offset ALTERED as well as the bpm! that's why i can easily pinpoint the difference while listening it... i tried all my other works (except for new license songs with no shock arrow before) to listen and still in the ??? reaction because of different sync in some measures... then compared them to my original back-ups and ALL ARE ALTERED already in the public download!... i got the WTF! reaction on these... so expect more ??? reactions from fellow members while criticizing my submitted works in the future..

so somebody who asked to test my simfiles and found all differences in synching, THEY ARE CORRECT, they are very different from my original back-ups i sent to alan before (thank God i didn't delete my back-ups after i downloaded the pack). not because it's my work, it's because the all my sm files are altered already until the public download announced. even the sample start altered to.

I thought all my sm files remain untouched until the download announcement so everybody can test , pinpoint any problem and criticize my works... i can really accept mistake if there are problems with the sm files as long as my submitted work is untouched.

i really have concern in this site... but unfortunately, it all started from ashura for giving the abrupt false judgment.

Okay, I haven't posted here in a while, but hearing you whining all the way to Bemanistyle made me very annoyed. I used to work on official simfiles for GFDM V2-V3, though I haven't made files since I got busy with school and work, although I did work on original sims for several competitions, so at least I can say this-- always expect criticism for any of your works. It may sound harsh, but at least take in stride, instead of planning to go for an all-out war like this. There may be something wrong in your work that other people have pointed out (e.g. what Oni-91 said, what Ashura said, and for that matter, hi Oni), so you should try to consider these things at the very least. If you can't take these in stride, SHUT UP.

Just to let you know, I downloaded the current files (which I think are already altered) and they're in perfect sync on 3.9, 3.9+, and 4.0 with judge diff. at 6. Since these are official sims, expect other people assigned to the task to modify your work, since these are a lot more stringent than other sims-- this is because there are bound to be very stringent rules on stuff like syncing.

I came across the same problem with You are a Star as I believe the song has a slower bpm in the beginning, just like the bpm changes in L'amour et la liberte(DDR. ver). I'm not good at finding bpm changes that are that slight so I thought it would be better to tell alan in one of the e-mails so he can look into it himself.

Can you play Love Again on D-Heavy and tell me what you think about the bpm changes at the end? I'm assuming that last you're referring to is the one on S-Heavy


I know that with the files I submitted, I just did a rough sync so that we can get phase one out of the way so that we can all concentrate and worry about the syncing.

As for pluto: if the stops feel wrong then they should also feel wrong for the Hottest Party version as that's where I got the bpm changes and stops from
