New loctest for crossbeats REV. starts today, at Eon Mall's Game Land.

New stuff includes a local battle mode and the theme song to REV:
DEEP PURPLE / NAOKI

The biggest addition is the introduction of creating user accounts tied to Aime cards.



The REVCHIP points system has also been introduced, which you can currently use to buy an icon, though a tab for buying songs also shows up.

Just noticed that Murasame's ending is much easier with F-V, since your wrists are less likely to block your view of the hold notes appearing in the corners that way. Might be worth a shot if you're having trouble with it.

Also, completely by accident, I now have an event score of 133700. [Edit: ...aaaand it's gone.]

And here's a couple rhythm charts for the complex part at the end of Murasame, in case anyone's having trouble with it:

First few repetitions:

Each x is a tap note, and o is a tap note that ONLY appears on the 3rd cycle. The 4th cycle only does the first half of the rhythm, and the last tap note in the middle replaced with a hold. Note that the x at the end is the same as the x at the beginning of the next cycle.

After that is a 16th stream, and a more complex reprise:

Bottom: ....C-----L-----R-----L-----R-----L-----R-----L------------].....

> is a flick note, each x is a tap note, and C, L, and R are hold notes. C is bottom center, L is bottom left corner, R is bottom right corner. ] is the end of the last hold note; for the rest, each hold note starts when the previous one ends.

The center portion is just the previous rhythm repeated twice except with the first tap note replaced with a flick.

Does anyone has any trick how to play this part without accidentally flick the second note?

Make a VERY short, light flick and intentionally hit the edge that's farther away from the second flick. In your screenshot, you should flick about halfway between the note itself and the "+4.0". The flick note hitboxes are gigantic and that should be enough to hit it.

(Also, if you think that's bad, 魔界村 is ten times worse. It took me forever to FC that one just because of the overlapping hitboxes on the flick notes about 20 or 30 seconds in.)

Yeah, Murasame's ending is definitely easier with F-V, although it's still very poor charting (the part of the reprise the holds are supposed to go to is SO faint and they don't need to be there at all).

Just barely trailing top 100 this event... I think Murasame is dragging me down but I've still got headroom in the other two songs.

Actually, SADA, SPARKER, and MC Natsack were all artists on the original game, so that likely just means that it will include What Is Wrong With The World, Nu Era, and Wanyo Wanyo.

Just hit 1.2 million total event points this afternoon, and since there's no way I'm getting in the top 1000, I calculated a rough estimate of how many PT I'd need to dump in order to hit 5 million. On a good day, my average score for the event songs sits around 33k, meaning I'd need about 115 plays times 5 tickets per play for a total of at least 575 tickets. Conclusion: Not worth. :I

In other news, the 19th Unlock Challenge Festival will be starting in a few days, with the usual SP exchange occurring alongside it. Seems this time around, there will be two sections of the event, each with their own songs and skins available for purchase.
