I have always found it interesting when there is a HUGE discrepancy between single and double with doubles being harder and much different than single. I know there is only so much you can do with one panel but it's still bizarre to see the differences even with rhythm. I'll deliberately not include Sobakasu. Seriously, screw that doubles chart!

Can't believe I forgot Butterfly (Upswing Mix)! So much harder than single
Don't forget Do the Evolution Doubles. It's 3 levels harder than the Singles chart.Only My Railgun

Most of the 6-footers from SN2 USA and licenses X2 USA for the PS2. Must they be so pathetically easy?
And Koko Soko. Too many annoying turns.
The doubles chart of some licenses in DDR Extreme (mostly the ones from Max and Max2) are kinda annoying for me.

Surprised nobody said that awkward rhythm switch up in El Ritmo Tropical.

Disco Break doubles is the reverse to this. Singles is an 8 (I think), doubles is a 5. Yup, I don't get it either, but whatever.
Back on topic to a chart that I'd like to fix... I'll say Kimochi. It's on UNIVERSE 3 and it doublesteps a lot. It's still okay though.
EDIT: I'd boost the difficulty of HIGH ENERGY .

Sky High (DJ Miko) . It was supposedly a 7, but actually got downgraded to a 6 in DDR Universe, which surprised me.
What I notice with that chart is that most of the syncopation patterns in the chorus occur in the same left & down formations. Plus, the chart seems a bit understepped IMO. I'd fix the syncopations, and add more notes overall, possibly to make it either a higher 7, or maybe even a low 8.

I don't see a problem with differences in difficulty or rhythms between single and double charts. I'm sure it's different because different people write single and double. Also, in my opinion, it would be really boring to have both playstyle's charts be the same.Post #47 · Posted at 2014-07-26 09:19:21am 9.8 years ago

DEAD END ESP
Lazy Konami. Although they've fixed/altered tons of stepchart for older songs on DDR X, I realised that Konami still did not fix DEAD END timing for ESP. (Section 33~35)
Just compare it with DSP, DDP & the GRS & you'll get what i mean.
This is a simple fix & how could they missed it.

I'd like to fix DAIKENKAI Oni because it's quite similar to the Heavy chart.

It's poorly done in every aspect. Non-existent flow, doublesteps everywhere, awkward patterning, constant facing towards the right... It's like Konami took someone who has never played the game before and told them to make a hard stepchart. I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.

I could swear it was fixed in the X batch of fixes. At least, I've played it on X2 and remarked specifically that that section was corrected. So, everyone wins!

It would be nice to fix Adularia's Single chart. I think it needs more steps than what it has.
