This was easily the worst attack on this site in a very long time, as you mentioned in your last post. The whole point was that none of you were around when you were most seriously needed. If this isn't something we should bring up as an issue, I'm honestly not sure what is. We all think this site would be safer if we have someone around while everyone else is away.

First off, this is not merely over a single event. There have been nasty attacks I've witnessed both of the spam and malicious variety over the past year or so that happened to occur during those inopportune time windows, and this isn't even the first time SOWS is involved (e.g. the Dolphin incident). The fact that they actively timed their attack for when the mods would be away this time, as cited by Astro, is exactly why it's become obvious there needs to be a counter put in place by adding a mod. (Almost like a black hat hack in giving us a lesson the hard way, except without the actual hacking)

I definitely agree that we need more mods. The thing is, we don't know when something like last night is gonna happen again, which is why we need to be prepared for it.

Plus, the sudoku link that was placed by those SOWS members got some of us banned, and this is indeed a problem. That link was probably no meant to be shared seeing how it was there for a year (according to some user) and went unoticed until now. Threads that were made to have a nice disscussion ended up be shat on.
Some of the users (like sig) got harassed just because, and the shitposts clogged up the forums. That doesn't sound like a non-issue...right?
