Yes, I was aware of Golden Sky sneakily being removed earlier this year. I was just wondering since then, have any other songs been removed? (I'm planning another score update video and wanna make sure I don't miss anything)

As far as I know, nothing else has been removed since the GOLDEN SKY removal.

Ryu☆ - starmine is coming to AC series tomorrow.
1) will stepchart is same as CS series(JP STRIKE, US Ultramix2)?
2) can we play this song's edit on arcade machine?

Also I'm guessing it's the same as Strike but with an extra challenge chart.

According to TAG, the chart will have some changes compared to the one on the CS versions.
Also, the movie from IIDX will also be played as a BGV

It's about time they brought this to an arcade version of DDR after all these years. This makes me hope they might bring 777, 100 Second Kitchen Battle and the rest of the songs from other BEMANI games that were brought to the Ultramix/Universe games later on.

Didn't the license for 777 expire? Because IIRC, they took it off Reflec Beat for that same reason.

According VJ Army, both the pop'n music and GF/DM versions are still available to play in their respective series'. I believe the removal was just for REFLEC BEAT.

Not surprising it will have new charts, the charts that have come so far from this Summer Event thing have 14-15s, so I expect the same for Starmine.

If "starmine" was added, I'd be glad if "G2" is a new crossover after this.

It wouldn't be added this soon, because G2 has nothing to do with summer, but it's not an impossibility afterwards.

The EXTRA ATTACK image for starmine makes no mention about "look forward to next week" - so this might mean the "summer" themed songs are over.

Honestly kinda disappointed. Those steps were pretty fun 10 years ago.

I get the feeling we will have some overstepped garbage for a new chart. I find nothing wrong with the old charts either: not amazing but not junk either like most IIDX tracks back then, they went with the rhythm.

If anything, I would rather vertical over starmine: something that Asian players most likely have never seen.

Could it be possible the beginner chart was taken out and the rest of the charts were shifted one difficulty rating down, so the old Heavy chart became the new Difficult chart? I'd love that personally.

Now that they've brought in Starmine, I hope they add others from the UM series. I say that all the time in the chat. But it's true.
