Some of my friends have had discussions with the KONAMI staff at the stand; they have mentioned that beatmaniaIIDX and GuitarFreaks&DrumMania will be going global by the end of this year. Europe (and possibly North America too) will also get the e-amusement system.
KONAMI has also mentioned that if demand for pop'n music is strong enough, they may decide to release that too. There has also been a mention of a new Dancing Stage if enough machines/kits are sold in Europe.
The news above has to be yet officially confirmed by KONAMI.
beatmaniaIIDX14 GOLD (2006-12-29 version)
Information
・J:A:A:20061229 version.
・EXPERT and CLASS mode are disabled. (Need e-amusement to activate maybe?)
・BEGINNER/STANDARD mode is 3 stages; FREE mode is 2 stages.
・There are some exclusive BEGINNER songs on the machine.
・Double tap the VEFX button to get PITCH effector.
・Score graph shows on the other side of the results screen. (x-axis: Time, y-axis: EX points)
・Music samples play in music select in BEGINNER'S mode just like pop'n music.
・When BATTLE is enabled, you can select INDEPENDENT DIFFICULTIES by holding down the VEFX button and pressing the corresponding player's START button.
・VANESSA will unlock when you AA three songs. (AUTO-SCRATCH/5-KEY not allowed.) Difficulties of the songs you have to AA are unknown but AA NORMAL songs to get VANESSA's NORMAL chart, HYPER songs to get NORMAL/HYPER charts. It is not known how to get VANESSA's level 12 ANOTHER chart up.
Information for first time players in the United Kingdom
As nearly everyone in the UK hasn't touched a beatmaniaIIDX machine here are some basic information to get us started
:
・2P Mode: Hit both START buttons at the title screen and hold it so that 2P mode is activated, once the ENTRY screen has loaded you cannot change the number of players.
・When in music select you must explicitly enable BATTLE mode.
・Doubles Mode: Hit either START button and use the turntable to scroll to the RIGHT option for Doubles Mode.
・Music Select Screen: START button brings up modifier options and VEFX button changes difficulty.
・Turn the EFFECTOR on and switch the PLAY VOLUME to FULL to get the best volume out of the machine otherwise it is really quiet.
・The turntable is analogue so the quicker you spin it the quicker the song list scrolls unlike the home versions that we are familiar with.
・To get the SCORE GRAPH, bring up the modifier menu and spin the turntable clockwise one click.
・To change HI-SPEEDs during in gameplay, hold START to bring up HI-SPEED menu, press a black key to increase HI-SPEED by 0.5 and a white key to decrease HI-SPEED by 0.5. Caution: The game will not wait for you to set HI-SPEED if you are doing it at the start of the song like home versions.

I always wondered, are Drum Mania and Guitar Freaks linked up, because I swear I saw a video of people playing together on youtube?.. Oh and hopefully the games become global, because my arcade sucks besides the DDRSN they dont take my video game requests seriously
