EDIT: Did a time comparison. Lesson By DJ is ~2:15 in CS DDR Hottest Party, ~1:40 in AC DDR A. About 35 seconds were cut.

Strange since MAX LOVE is 2:17 in length and appears uncut...

Then again, lesson song.

I agree with this. I think Konami's recently just been trying to make the game accessible to as wide a range of people as possible. US release, American licenses, London/Europe location test, tutorial song to ease beginners into the game...all these things seem designed to bring DDR back into the public eye again.

Since when would casuals go "Oh, Lesson By DJ, I know that one"?

Sure, you may be talking about Lesson by DJ here...

...but there's also the fact that DDR X AC had a song called HOW TO PLAY, which is pretty much the same thing as Lesson by DJ.

What are the odds of a player choosing Lesson by DJ over a song they hear on a radio and like it?

This was my point. Adding a song like that is useful for casuals to not fail the first time they play on a machine.

Dang, 3 months is quite a long time to have a location test. I'm guessing Konami is wanting to see if people will still go play the game long after the initial "OMG DDR IZ BACK!1!" buzz dies down? Hope this works out!

The camera is pretty bad but looks like you guys got a JP HD X-style cab (without the LED towers and without the front panel LEDs?) and it's running UDA 20160701 (USA is still running on UDA 20160623 as of a couple days ago)

Where did that cabinet come from?
