Wait, if the UK location test's cabinet is a redone X cabinet, what happened to that infamous Betson fiasco? I thought they were used for all DDR X/X2 cabinets outside of Asia.

I put that they should make a goddamn 20.
Next time put "make hnkul702 an official step artist", so I can make that dream of yours come true. I'm kidding. People will probably hate me if I ever make such obscenities a reality. But I can dream too ya know

I'm hoping Konami got feedback on that and learned. Not that it matters now. Haha.Post #2163 · Publicado en 2016-07-30 03:55:15am Hace 7.8 años

And of course, it's none other than DJ Sterf!
He did MFC this song while juggling though. Hope he gets Holic soon nonetheless.

Just played DDR A for the first time at my local Dave & Buster's...and I must say...IT WAS AWESOME!!!
I have some things to note:
I believe the Touhou song category is called either "Toho remixes" or "Toho arrangements". Either way, they call Touhou "Toho".
There were a LOT of casuals, the majority of who played Happy, Shut up and Dance, and a third song which was either Break Free, Time of Our Lives or I Want You To Know. Either way, I got so sick of listening to the same songs over and over again while waiting for my turn to play...
Time of Our Lives cuts out the bad word before "blessed" but doesn't censor "a$$"
The machine I played on was in Local Mode so no E-Amuse for me
Some song categories are translated like "JAPANESE POPS" and "Anime and Game", but the HinaBitter category is left as-is in Japanese
Overall, I had such fun today! I even improved - now I can clear songs up to level 11! I'm definitely going to return when I can!

-Toho is valid due to the ambiguity of transliteration. (The most faithful transliteration of "東方" is "Tōhō", which is popularly romanized as either "Toho" or "Touhou")
-There is no curse word before "blessed" in Time of Our Lives; it's just a pause. The only difference between the explicit and clean versions of the song is the usage of the word "a**".
-Hinabita was likely untranslated due to there being no consensus in the English community on how exactly to translate it.

I always thought the pause was a cut-out curse word...maybe it's because I'm so used to hearing radio edits of songs where there are pauses that actually ARE cut-out curse words, so I was just mistaken.

Extreme isn't even that good anyways.
I would play more MAX2 or SN songs that aren't MAXX or Xepher.

I just wanted to add, i've no idea if this would get to anyone at Konami but they REALLY need to do something with the songlist similar to how pump has its easy mode, have the default folder/sort/whatever be licenses and semi popular songs (Including the handful from previous Euromix games over here which would probably be similar in america too to be honest) so people can find something they know or like fast. Because even though I know the songlist quite well already, it took me bloody ages to find anything to play and even when I were looking for the international licenses I nearly wasted my entire timer scrolling through the songs for them. I think DDR 2014 did something similar near the end of its lifespan ?

I would agree if they had something like Beginner Mode like in SN/SN2.

They should bring back HAPPY / PRO modes from DDR X2 for that very reason, I doubt they will do it though.

You should probably mention that in the DDR A feedback form from bemanistyle before it closes in about 9 hours. It'll go straight to people directly involved in the development of the US version (which could transfer over to the UK version if it comes out)

I agree, I have yet to see first-time/newcomer players complete an entire round of songs. Most of them don't make it past the first stage on beginner/basic, and if they do, they don't make it past the second. In some extremely rare cases, I've had some walk away after passing the first song without realizing there was more, making me have to find a level 18/19 song and force fail. (One time these parents wanted to play for fun with their preschool daughter. Said daughter proceeded to walk away after the tutorial, much to the bewilderment of the parents. Thought it was kinda funny and cute.)

Idk so far from the casual crowd I've seen at our local DnB they do have trouble choosing songs but they finish the songs at the very least.
Tbh I don't care if they do or not as long as they paid
Must give konmai their money for us to get more DDR haha

Then again, I usually go in the morning/early afternoon, when the demographic is somewhat leaned towards the younger side. It does seem to get lines & crowds at late night from what other people at my location have observed; I'm told they set the machine to free play (or they have an employee that uses a magical power card to pay for all the games, not 100% sure.)

This isn't even rare, this is how i play most of my PIU.Think it was X3 that worked similar to Copula now, with it defaulting to the lisences folder but you could still move to group folders with sort menu. That's the best kind because if you accidentally pick happy mode it's rip coin.
