Video Editor Question

I'm currently looking for a video editor that's good in trimming videos. . .

I've tried some programs but I can't get the pesky logo out on the middle of the video when I trim it

Virtualdub will crop every frame in the video, if that's what you mean?

"Trimming" a video means removing frames from it.

From what I know, "trimming" is what I mean, what's the difference of cropping from trimming anyway?

I've been using cyber link power director and the have lots of cropping and trimming options. I also thought that trimming meant removing frames.

Cropping a video means you can make the frame smaller. I used this when making videos for the Jungle Book simfiles where I wanted to crop the video to remove the arrows and the top porton of the video so that only the middle section of the video remained.
