maybe this could be a bit neglected, but are anyone here know how to change the course mode animation at SM similar to courses animation at DDR ?

i dont know but maybe in the themes metrics file (if ur good at editing metrics) there should be a [SScourse mode] section with a whole lot of things you can configure try editing the course entry display part and try some commands with that

you should try beware's stepmania extreme. Almost exact copy of DDR Extreme JP into a heavily modded StepMania.
