Recently I've noticed a LOT of new comers to play X2. I was wondering if that has anything to do with this append festival? Do players from other bemani games need to play X2 to unlock something or something?
Those newcomers are probably Jubeat players; you need to play I'm So Happy on X2 to unlock Theory Of Eternity on both games.I think.

Yes. It's essentially an effort to try to milk the popularity of jubeat to have it benefit the other BEMANI games.

silver spirit is right, all my jubeat friends who never played DDR in their lives were queuing up just to play i'm so happy. but i got a question, i can't find i'm so happy in the song list. must i choose the pro mode to play it?
