"Just Play Along" |
This isn't very important or necessary in the site, but it would be a pretty unique and interesting addition to the website. Simply sum up every individual BPM of a game's songs, or each footrate per difficulty, divided by the number of songs. You could go the extra mile and add up the number of steps in each difficulty chart, the number or airs/freezes, etc. Then you could display this in the Songs Browser beside the entries. For example. the average bpm for "Dance Dance Revolution (Arcade) (Japan)" is 135 (rounded from 134.727273). Then the average number of steps in the Heavy stepcharts, then the average amount of Airs in the Heavy charts, etc. Heck, we could even have a groove radar for the Dance Dance Revolution entries that shows the average Stream, Voltage, Air, Chaos and Freeze throughout the soundtrack of each game. What do you guys think? It could give you an idea of how difficult each game is.
