Step DDR Songs how I want and earn some $$$

This sounds strange but I am looking for some people to restep DDR songs.

Let me explain.

The way I usually practice learning charts is by using PSP revolution. It's very helpful for me but due to tons of limitations of that software I can't get everything I want out of it.

Things I wish it had.
-Mirror option
-Assist Tick
-CMods
-Additional speed options
-Non buggy freeze arrows.
-Rate mods
-Etc.

For the most part I really find the program useful but with lacking all of those options I am missing out.

So the way I see it, there are only two options.
1. Someone who has the source of PSPR adds on to the code to allow those options. (fat chance but I would pay quite a bit if someone did that)
2. I get custom made charts to my liking.

For option 2 I would mainly be looking for the following criteria.

1. Constant BPM (ie, no slow downs or stops)
2. No freeze arrows present
3. Two files of each song (one on mirror, one on normal)
Bonus
4. Assist tick playing with the song.
5. Song playing on .8 or .9 rate (I would mention beforehand if desired)


So now that you know what I am looking for, since I would be taking up your time, I am willing to pay.
I would mostly just want the songs 17-19 that I need to work on for the record.

I know how much I would be willing to pay but I am very curious to know how much you step artists think it's worth. That's it for now until I get some replies to see if anyone is even willing to do it. And if it is any incentive, if I end up improving on these songs I would owe a lot of it to the people who helped me step them.

Hmm I bet that wouldn't be too hard. I could probably help you out. But some songs like Mei with gradual slowdowns would be much harder to make it constant bpm than a song with only a couple of stops.

So I'm guessing some would want more $ than others. I probably thinking like $2 a song, but really I would do some of them for free.

Of course all this done for free would be way better. I guess I am just too cynical, I think most people won't give the time of day unless they believe they can get something out of that.

There may even be a few I am forgetting...

I'm thinking if I could make audio files with assist tick and at the rate I want, then I could just send them to who wants to step them. I think it might make the task easier.

I know it's a lot to ask but if anyone wants to lend a hand I would be incredibly thankful. If you have questions before you try to step it please ask. Also if you really are planning to do it pro bono, you better make mention of the file you are doing so someone else doesn't do it too.

Just got done trying both files. AWESOME!!! This is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. The only slightly nitpicky thing I'd mention would be to ask how hard would it be to get the music with the assist tick to the steps? I understand that you are using that program to make the beat and I must admit it sounds amazing. I especially like how that software made the music sound after slowed down, step mania gets all echoy and ruins it. I think the only way to get the assist tick to match it would be to use the one in step mania which means you'd have to record the song/chart and play it once with assist tick on and saving the music to ogg or MP3. A bit of trouble not to mention when there's an expert and challenge chart involved you'd need to different audio files since the assist ticks would be different. Talk about a headache.

Don't sweat it though, what you made is going to be extremely helpful and I can't wait for that IX.

I just tried working on the audio with the claps with each step, but i recorded it to loud and its over modulated...
So i will start from scratch tomorrow

I edited my list of desired files. I remove more than 10 from the list. Several of them I have since PFCed and the others darkannie has been helping me a lot which is greatly appreciated. If anyone else is interested in stepping any you better post it here first or ask which one you can do in case someone else is already stepping it.
