Xscape is located on the ground floor, which was formerly occupied by: the box office, the IMAX VR arcade and VRcade. As with the former TechTown coin-operated arcade, it is nothing to write home about. It mostly consists of redemption games for tickets. Sadly, the venue no longer has a dance machine. It has a few so-so games and giant Mario plush toys, however!

Prices listed on the games page are based on an $12.43 card, and include 13% Ontario HST. Most games cost $2.26 after tax, which is 8 credits. It's possible to obtain lower prices by purchasing play cards in several other provinces, or with bulk credits. For example, in Ontario, it costs:
• $12.43 after HST for a new card with 44 credits, or 5½ games, or $2.26 per Hot Wheels game
• $33.90 after HST for a reloaded card with 200 credits, or 25 games, or $1.36 per Hot Wheels game
• $35.03 after HST for a new card with 204 credits, or 25½ games, or $1.38 per Hot Wheels game

Techtown Arcade is on the second floor behind the bar and is freely accessible/not gatekept after buying a movie ticket.

The DDR X cabinet is in an awful shape. The 2P side left arrow is pretty much shot, while the 1P side up and right arrows constantly register ghost steps, making it impossible to carry any kind of combo. This machine is also very quiet.

Do not bother coming here.

Note: game prices listed are rounded up to the nearest penny and based on paying regular price for tokens. "Best value" bundles cost less. For example, 134¢ is the regular price for four tokens. When purchasing 35 tokens for $10, the cost for four tokens is lowered to 115¢. When purchasing 75 tokens for $20, the cost for four tokens is lowered to 107¢.
